The Heartbeat of Dandenong...

Kevin Clarence writes: "The picture shows a 1925 or 1926 Chevrolet Roadster, two door, bench seat, probably with a "dickey" seat. It is an unusual vehicle body type to be an Australian Working Car as it is not designed to carry much of a load at all. The driver has been very inventive as to where to place two bags either side of the engine bonnet (tied on with thin twine) and what appears to be a wool bale on the back. Going by the age of the photgraph it appears to be taken around the 1950s." (photo collection Kevin Clarence, Dandenong Valley Historic Car Club, Australia)
