Tjitte de Jong is a man who cannot sit still and has four right hands. Hands number three and four belonging to his equally gifted son. When he has no project in his barn he probably feels depressed. After the succesful rejuvenation of his Austin Seven military he got restless again and started to look out for a cyclecar. Now he proudly presents his latest acquisition: an MG. That is to say a Monet & Goyon, type VM serie 1, ca. 1922~25, chassis #109. This the kind of project that you will only buy and restore out of sheer love. Tjitte will without any doubt invest lots of money and a thousand hours. With in the end not a shade of profit or even return of investment. Tjitte didn't choose for an 'easy restoration subject'. Quite contrary, as you can judge by yourself from this highly sofisticated transmission detail and the impressive engine bay . We'll show you when Tjitte is on the road again...
