To get the kids to school...

One of the most sought after Lagonda's is the V12 drophead. Of the V12 in totality less than 200 were produced as Saloon, Coupes and DHC's of which 100 or less survived. To find any of those in untouched condition is an extreme rarity. To find an untouched drophead with an odometer reading of 50,112, which is believed to be genuine, is very unlikely to put it mildly. The car was with one family at least 40 years. The current owner has vivid memories how he was delivered to and picked up from school with this extravagant beauty. In 1965 it was decided to lay up the car for a longer time. The chrome work was all covered in grease etc. So in fact the car will look much better after a Saturday afternoon worth of washing and careful cleaning. At the moment its pre 1965 history details are being checked with the Lagonda Car Club. Wouldn't it be great to find out if the car is still in its original livery? Check the link below for a full gallery of photos. (this car will be auctioned by H&H the 26th July ; special thanks to Raul Valkila, Finland)
