Alle wegen leiden naar Parijs?
De laatste jaren zijn uitdagend geweest en het "nieuwe" normaal is iets waar we allemaal aan moeten wennen. Volgende week is er eindelijk weer een grote autoshow: Salon Rétromobile. Voor ons zal het de eerste show zijn sinds het begin van de pandemie en ook de eerste sinds alle reisbeperkingen werden opgeheven. We vragen ons af hoe het zal zijn. Zullen alle Britten, Duitsers, Amerikanen, Argentijnen, Australiërs en Afrikanen de reis weer maken en hun weg naar Parijs vinden? En hoe zal de oorlog in Oekraïne dit beïnvloeden? Zullen alle wegen naar Parijs leiden of zullen er minder mensen zijn dan voorheen?
Laat ons weten of u dit jaar wel of niet komt.
Salon Rétromobile 2022
De Rétromobile beurs wordt gehouden in Expo Porte de Versailles in Parijs van 16 tot 20 maart 2022. Het PreWarCar.com & PostWarClassic.com team zal er zijn (Stand L095 in Hal 7.3), net als de Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Sport op de foto hierboven.

The photograph was taken in Germany because the road sign in the picture is distinctly of German design. French road signs look very different to those in Germany.
And the sign means that Bundesstraße 3 (B3) leads to Freiburg 71km away, and that Bundesstraße 28 (B28) leads to the Salon Rétromobile thanks to the Editor's retouching skills !
Btw, I first thought the car was a Saab 92 of around 1949, especially with the Swedish registration. From the rear, the Alfa Romeo pictured looks almost the same as the Saab.

Hi there
The picture must have been taken smack west of Offenburg, on the French side of the Rhein river.
And within 28 km, there was the Salon Rétromobile. There is no major town within that radius except for Strasbourg.
But Strasbourg is west of the Rhein river and the road sign points east!
Either the Salon Rétromobile was somewhere out in the countryside or the picture is fake news!
