Trunk deck ? (UPDATE III: Turtle deck - Maxwell - 1910/11)

Update III: Rick Jorgensen found a 1911 Model AB wioth the same radiator. Update II: Kit Foster found that the car most probably is a 1910 due to a difference in radiator design. Here the 1909 model and secondly the one we were looking for a 1910 car (CollectorCarTraderOnline). Update I: Thank you all (Bob Swanson, Bob McAnlis, Dave Welles, John McKiernan, Lars-Göran Lindgren) for sending your comments on this photo what seems to be a 1909-1910-ish Maxwell 2 cylinder.

EARLIER TEXT: Three mysteries in a row, why not? On yesterday's question so far we received no suggestion. And maybe never will. On Saturday's one we got several very close and almost(!) equally good answers. Maybe today's mystery car is very easy. It almost certainly is a US car, as that's where the photo came from. So is it just an early Ford? We didn't have the time for research so we decided to put the probnlem on your desk. Click the photo for an enlargement of this poor quality snapshot. The car looks 1905-ish with the 4 acetylene lights and tank. The radiator is distinctive and so is the compact Roadster body with rounded, somewhat British dashboard/cowl, short running boards and long 'trunk-deck' what of course is the wrong expression. Up to you to tell us (e-mail) what the right words are. (photo collection editor)
