Weird Wednesday
'Dear Sir, where can I buy this car ?'

Between all the umpteen e-mails we get every day we found this one yesterday particularly charming: "I am an avid fan of 30s racecars, and would like to purchase one similar to the image on your 'prewarcar' logo. However, I do not know which companies made such a car, or what they were called. Can you tell me the makes/models of such cars? I'm sure I can find one on your site, but until I know where to look, it is useless!"
Let's give our friend a little help... Now if you want a fresh one it is easy... We all know where they are still made, American racers are made by Reklus Cars in Argentine. The slightly smaller Austin 7 racers are found with Jansen Coachbuilding in Holland. And if you don't object to a new T35 of course you are welcome with PurSang which now is selling cars in Australia as well (talk to Rick Nicolaas). But the man was asking for similarity with the logo car. So we can send him to the Riley page . Or draw his attention to a Duesy racer project. But why don't you tell us what car is most similar with the PWC logo? The best match within 48 hours will be awarded with a PreWarCar T-shirt.
