Weird Wednesday:
solve the Jigsaw Puzzle (UPDATE IV: no Model A! Stutz or Caddy?)

This bunch of parts is owned by Rinus Belt, yet he isn’t really sure just what he owns. The story goes that these pieces are the remains of a Bugatti Type 40 once owned by Jean Bugatti. He was also told that the engine and drive train were used to build a Type 37. However, Rinus has serious doubts about these stories and is thinking the parts are from more humble origins, perhaps Ford Model A Roadster. Have a look at the rear end and also look at the door. Who can fit the pieces together and tell us what car or cars are involved? Mail us!

Update IV from: Ivan Saxton: "... the windscreen, door, and rear mudguard with the step plate for access to the rumble seat are very like Cadillac or LaSalle about 1927. Bonnet sides and front guards don't match, but the bumpers could be OK for LaSalle from my memory."
