Weird Wednesday: ever tried a pre-car bike ?

You may be accustomed to vintage bicycles. Really antique bicycles is another chapter. But you can even go back a bit further. Showing here is the snuggy seat of a ca. 1883 bicycle made in New Jersey. Before jumping on the pedals too quick, this is not exactly the one you may have in mind. Yes it has the huge and the small wheel, but.... the other way around. The small wheel being in the front. Coming Saturday you may be in the position to purchase it at this two wheeler auction by H&H. After practising the ride you probably understand why we came up with this on the longest day of the year. Sorry for our friends Down Under, they will have a little less time...
