Weird Wednesday: now what's this?

Our first impression was an 'objet trouve' like Picasso's bull's head (1942). But of course that object has a little more elegance and refinement. Still, let's not leave the bull and Picasso immediately. Another work of art by Picasso the object gives associations with Pablo's bullfight. Of course it has nothing to do with both as the object is a creation by Tillotson, the carburetor firm. To be more precise it looks like the carb as used on the Overland Four and Six of the late twenties... Click the main photo for a zoom and then check Old-Carburetors.com for comparison. Or go straight to Hans Compter's fresh listing of old carbs.
