What is it? # 181

It's a nice little coupe or maybe better said a hardtop. It's not made in the US, but not in a small country either. What's underneath the shiny body is probably much better known to many of you. Still the most wellknown coupes of this wellknown make have been produced in the fifties of the last century, while the oldest roots are from the fifties of the nineteenth century. Enough mysterious hints for now. The best of you will have no problem to forge technique and coachwork into a brilliant winning answer of no more than 50 words. Answers must be in before Monday May 15. (photo collection Fred Sharf)
