What is it? # 242

We haven’t seen many hearses on PreWarCar before, as they are a rather sinister mode of transport. Yet this is a very nice one, a one-off, built on the chassis of a very luxury car. The factory has been with us since the end of the nineteenth century, although under a different name. Only after a merger in 1925 the make got its present name. The model this hearse was based on, was built from 1929 until 1934 and has a 6-cylinder engine. To help you along a bit, from 1929 all models of the make were given a type name of three digits. The first gave away the number of cylinders, the two other stood for the number of horsepower. What we want to know from you is the make and model this hearse is based on and if possible the year. And yes, we have photoshopped the obvious details. Send us your answer before Monday, January 19 by using our Contact Form, but please use no more than 100 words! See Read More for the Rules. Have a great weekend! (Photo source to be disclosed next week).
