What's that hinge in the photo ?

When you want to have a chance at Pebble Beach first do the Vancouver 'Beach' Test. Park your newly painted car facing sideways to the sunset, ask your car to say 'Cheese' and do 'click'. When you come up with a photo like this our compliments not only go to the photographer, but also and more to the guys who did the paintjob. Both photo and paint a piece of art, here for you to admire in detail under enlargement. Of course you guessed right away this must be the right rear panel of the 1914 Mercedes Tourer that is in Editors Choice. Incredible perfect car, last year good for a third prize in the Class 1902-1924 Mercedes (PebbleBeachConcoursnet.org). (Photo courtesy David Godwin)
