To be honest we often find photos we can't say much about. And we would like to invite the experts out there to share their knowledge. This Ford V8 Special for instance. In elegant, but faded writing on the back : 'Ledgis(?) Pfund in his sanically(?) Ford Special - a handful(?). John.' It must be Ledgyard Pfund with his 1934 Ford V8 Flathead Special that ended 23 at the 1949 Watkins Glenn Grand Prix (www.Deepthrottle.com). Licence plate is New Jersey 1949 and starting number matches: 30 . Well that's something, but we would love to hear all ins & outs.
