World’s Fair in Paris (Update Mors)

Wandering around a French flea market, Fer Cools found this truly amazing photograph. It was made at the World’s Fair, held in April 1900 in Paris and shows the stand "automobiles militaires". The car in front with the small French flag painted on the side is a Decauville. The car behind it has a ribbon with the colours of the French flag on the windscreen. Up till World War I this was the official recognition sign of a general. Could this automobile be a Darracq? Contact us (RB) (photo collection Fer Cools)

UPDATE II by Henk Visscher: It’s not a Darracq, but a 4-cyl. 16 HP Mors witch coachwork by Rheims, Auscher & Cie. The staff car is described and pictured in the "Rapports du Jury International de l'Exposition Universelle de 1900". The car was exhibited as a "Voiture à grande vitesse pour état-major d'armée". See this page (cnum.cnam.fr) and following pages. And there are also more details about the 2-cyl. 5 HP Decauville "Voiturette pour officier d'état-major".
UPDATE I: Fons Alkemade is positive that the car in the back is a Darracq.
