YR 3294 ? (update)

James Holland wrote to us it's quite definitely a Bentley. '...chassis details, little things like the size of the hubs and the Cricklewood registration...' identify this car as a Bentley. Thank you James.
EARLIER TEXT: Just a few months ago I found this photo of a boattailed Brit and it's always intriguing me. Is it a Bentley? A Lagonda? An Alvis? A .... ??? Take a look at the enlarged detail and help me out. The gas fillercap looks like Bentley, but I am not knowledgable enough to recognise cars by chassis details. And maybe you will recognise the license number as that of your London neighbour 75 years ago. Whatever information is welcome. (photo collection editor)
