100 plus 50 years Salvation Army (update: 1905 Renault type V)

Not too many amongst you will be aware of the 150 years celebrations of the Salvation Army. Hans Horwitz however is and found back this 1965 advert from the army announcing the centennial celebrations. Back than a reenactment was done with a William Booth lookalike on board of a 1915 Renault (we presume). History learns that William Booth preached from a motorcar in the early days. We are interested to learn which exact car this was, who is the driver and whatever became of this big tourer. We are convinced it must be around somewhere. Maybe even still in London? (insiders may recognise the background as Drummonds private bank at Charing Cross; since 1924 Royal Bank of Scotland).

Maybe we should check with the UK club 'Renault Freres' ..
UPDATE by John Kemsley (RF Club)
"The car at the time used to belong to a Mr J G Downs who used it regularly for many years with the Veteran Car Club and it is a car that I have owned now since 1988.  It is a 1905 Type V Renault, 20/30HP, still much the same as in the photo other than the front wings which were changed by the owner of the car after Mr Downs, before I had it. I am attaching a photo taken a few years ago."

Also this couldn't have been the car that William Booth rode in, since he died in 1912

OK so the heading picture is a Renault V, but what was the Car supposedly driven by William Booth ?
There is a photo on page 83 of 'Edwardian Nottingham' by Iliffe and Baguley, 1978. The caption is 'General Booth of the Salvation Army being driven by George Brough in his Darracq when he visited Nottingham to receive the Freedom of the City'.
The question IS, to whom did the Darracq belong (the English is imprecise !)

The car in the photo is a 1905 Renault 20/30 type V which used to be owned by a gentleman in the South of England for many years (I think he is driving)and which I now have.

that's got to be one of the many times that the car was more interesting than the owner, especially to prewarcar readers.

In 1906 W.P. Ryan published this book: The romance of a motor mission; with general Booth on his white car crusade. It tells how Booth travelled around with about six white (not: White) cars in England and Scotland. When I saw the somewhat vague pictures of the cars in the book some years ago, I thought they were Mors cars.

Sorry, I don't know the make of car in the picture, but I do know that William Booth had a Darracq.
I have a photo of this Darracq somewhere, I believe it came from one of the contemporary motoring magazines, approximately 1907 to 1909.
