Ford's thoroughly redesigned 1939 lineup marked one of the most significant advancements in the company's pre-war evolution. Along with the welcome addition of long-awaited hydraulic brakes, the new models featured a more modern and aerodynamic appearance that drew clear inspiration from the sleek Lincoln-Zephyr.
