A roadside shaving Mystery. (Upd. Stoewer V5, like in Stoewer Museum)

Here we have a shot made in 1935 showing three men (plus a photographer) shaving and brushing their teeth. Is it a holiday? Did they have an overnight test run? The car so far is an even greater mystery. Judging the frontaxle set-up and bulbous hubs, we wouldn't be surprised if this is a frontwheel drive. Yet it doesn't look like Adler. So what's the alternative? Can you help?  The photo came through us from Oldtimer-TV

The front wheel drive car is without a doubt a Stoewer, I think it is a type V5 from about 1932.
