A feather in your cap!

We suppose that when in 1936 Humber introduced their all new six-cylinder models they needed no-one to put a feather in their cap. The new Snipe and Eighteen had completely new, more modern bodies and its independant front suspension had been designed by American Delmar "Barney" Roos who had previously worked for Studebaker and later went back to the US to help design the Willys Jeep.

This press photo (click main pic) dating from 1936 shows the Humber 18 and comes from the collection of Humber enthusiast Bruno Costers.
