A mystery at Hotel America

This is a photograph of Hotel America in Hoek van Holland, the Netherlands. Yes, the place where you arrive with the ferry from Harwich (England) when you cross the Channel.

We see three taxies for the tram stop in front of the hotel. Can anyone help us identify the makes? We know the photograph is taken on the 26th of July 1909. Maybe that can help.

Even if the resolution of the photo would be higher (scan quality could be better...), I doubt that we can really identify this car. The body from c. 1905 could belong to any French or German car of that era - they simply didn't show any distinctive features from this perspective... I have attached a photo from my collection showing a (potentially French) car from c.1905-07 with similar body lines which actually were quite common back then.
