This radiator must have had a hard life in the past. It was recently acquired by Rod Fulton from Australia, who hasn’t a clue about its origins and therefore doesn’t know whether the dents occurred by shifting it around in someone’s garage, or that the car it was mounted on has had a history with mishaps. As is placed against a wall, we can calculate that the radiator is some seven stones high (appr. 56 cm / 22 inches). We find the ´V´ that’s painted on the radiator core quite intriguing. Does that ring a bell somewhere, someone? If so, help us us find out where this radiator originates from.
Update IV: Stuart Penketh is certain that it's NOT a Bean radiator as the Bean radiator has an arched profile and wider bottom."
Update III by Ian Murray: "I've looked through my collection of Arrol Johnston photographs, and I'm quite sure this is not an AJ radiator!"
Update II by John Kent: “guess that it is from a vintage Arrol Johnston.”
Update I from Peter Smith: “almost certain that this radiator is from an 18/50 BEAN approx 1927. Seems to have the correct profile and badge was rectangular like this.”
