A Spring weekend, Welsh style

"Llandridnod Wells in the heart of Wales welcomed many of our smaller and older vintage cars to take part in the LCES tour and trial (LCES = Light Car & Edwardian Section of the VSCC). With delightful weather the cars and their crews took to the wiggly and often steep lanes of Wales on a jolly tour to Builth Wells on the Saturday followed by a trail on the Sunday. Some high-level left-over snow was encountered which put a stop to some routes despite many best efforts from some Austin 7s! This was another great weekend organised by Stuart Rich and Francine Pimperton with one of the youngest drivers, Master Brereton showing the old-hats how to win. A super weekend of camaraderie with road-side fettling and family participation." (text and photos Liz Cawley)
