When going to a car show like Techno Classica in Essen, as a pre-war car enthusiast, it always cost me some time to find the "real" old cars between all the Porsches and Mercedes Gullwings.
But we can always dream away at the stands of Vintage & Prestige, Hyman Ltd, Fine Automobiles, Christoph Grohe, Thiesen and other well-known dealers. Still, it is hard to find the pre-wars.
Last week I noticed something different. There were a large number of Alfa Romeo 6c-cars. We were happily surprised by all the beauty we saw and were asking ourselves. Will the 6C be the new 911?
The Alfa Romeo was a dream car back in the days and clearly still is for most of us. So we were very happy with what we saw. But what will the future bring? Will the prices rise? Will more replicas get built? What will current owners do? Are they going to sell them? Will they stop using them? Will this become a trend or was it just a coincident? Please comment below and let us know what you think.
