An Alfa Romeo 8C Roadster Mystery? (update: 8C 2900 Touring, chassis #412014)
The Alfa Romeos of this pedigree are individuals and every single one is known one would expect. However, we could not immediately recognise or find the one presented here. A fabulous impressive Roadster with intricate louvring in the nose. Very nice semi cut windshield and partly hidden rearwheels. You guys probably cough up all details within minutes after publishing. We even would not be surprised if you decide it is not an 8C but a 6C. Well, we will be happy to hear from you.

This ALFA ROMEO is an 8C 2900 with a body by Touring. The chassisnumber is 412014 and you can find this particular car in the book "The Immortal 2.9" written by Simon Moore (pages 127-141)

I bet the picture is from the 50's or 60's and that the indicator lights and added brake /horn vents are thankfully no longer with us. Agree, 2900 corto by Touring.

One of the most stunning carriages ever, a 1937-1938 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Spider bodied by Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera.
The 8C 2900 was first showed at the London Motor Show 1935.
"2900B" means a shortened chassis than the "2900A".
