An original Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Sport Berlinetta in Concours condition and more

After watching this impressive video of the 1944 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Sport Berlinetta what can we add about this one of only three “Turinga” designed cars, this particular one with the famous and innovative Superleggera system? The Alfa Romeo was for almost 50 years owned by the famous Swedish businessman and aviator Uno Ranch. Whereafter this engine matching number, 6C, was in the possession of two other caretakers and therefore comes with a detailed history and low mileage. This results in an astonishingly original car in Concours condition. It is ready for the May edition of the famous Mille Miglia where it is a welcome guest and the previous winner of the ‘Coppa Clemente Biondetti’ for ‘Most beautiful Alfa Romeo of the Mille Miglia 2018’. And it is eligible for many other international events and Concours d ’Elegances.

1936 Packard Twelve Coupe

Another totally different PreWarCar in the Finarte auction later this month is this powerful 1936 Packard Twelve. A luxurious and sporting but elegant American car with coupe body style. Some years ago this V12-engined automobile underwent a full restoration to Concours standards. Have a look at the wonderful upholstered interior! This matching number Packard is among the CCCA Full Classic. What would be the first event you would go to with this sporty and classy Packard?

1939 FIAT 508 C

The last car we would like to point out, in which you can also participate in the Mille Miglia, is this 1939 FIAT 508 C. Something a little bit more low key and as a PreWarCar has the plus of positioning early in the starting order. The Fiat, with chassis no. 508C240975, is painted two-tone dark green-black and has black-cream rims with original hubcaps but does need a bit of restoration work. The auction catalogue tells us that the mechanics are complete but that the car is not in working order. This Fiat 508 comes with the original 1939 Italian GE28402 plates and vintage maintenance booklet.

Other PostWarClassics to be offered for sale in the Finarte 2020 Selection + 1000 sale on 28 – 30 October 2020 can be found here.
