Right on the heels of last week's very succesful Aalholm auction RM will have its annual sale at the Monterey weekend. Amidst all the exotics in their catalogue -Delage, Hispano-Suiza, Duesenberg, you name 'm- we found this down-to-earth but super clean 1934 Ford V-8 DeLuxe Three-Window Coupe. Five-window coupes are plenty around, but three-window coupes are quite rare as only 26.000 were built during that model year. And of those that didn't make it to the scrapyard most were hot-rodded, so it's quite unusual to find a stock one. This one came originally from Texas and was completely restored in a very sympathetic manner. Just look at its lovely black color with the Aurora Red wheels and pinstripe. Also the interior is smartly done in correct, rose beige mohair seats. Imagine yourself sitting behind that marvelous super stock steering wheel. And of course there's that wonderful sound of the V8 flathead. We think we just fell in love! When's the next plane to Monterey?
