After the last Christmas Quiz had been published, the solutions started pouring in. Almost all of them were correct in identifying the six radiator emblems, for the full list see ‘Read More’. The biggest stumbling block proved to be # 3, the four-leaf clover, which we deviously had turned into a three-leaf clover. It was not an Alfa Romeo (although not a bad thought), not a Dorris, no Straker Squire or Shamrock; it was the French Brasier, as seen on this 1911 22/30 Torpedo. Almost everybody had the other emblems correct, which were Oldsmobile, as seen on a 1927 Oldsmobile 30E Tourer; a 1939 Morris Series E Tourer; a 1936 BSA Scout; a Dodge as seen on this 1931 model and finally the Aero logo taken from this 1929 Morgan Aero Sports. All correct answers were put into this big bag, well shaken and stirred and at random six names were taken out to determine the winners of the quiz. They are Peter Martin from Australia; Terry Brown (Canada); Remco van Gogh (Netherlands); Hubert Kranz (Germany); Hannu Aalto (Finland) and Vladimir Perkic from Slovenia. Congratulations to all of you! The T-shirt will be on it’s way. See you all next week with a new regular quiz.
