Christmas Quiz 2010 – The Answers!

Six days, six cars, six problems to solve. We’re sure you must have enjoyed (or maybe hated) our Christmas Quiz as we have never had so many answers. And in fact so many correct ones that it is impossible to list them all, as is normally our custom. We gave you the most important clue on day 1, when we wrote “Easy, especially when you’re an avid PreWarCar-reader you will have seen them before somewhere on these pages.” And you had to take that sentence literally as one of the contestants wrote: “It took me days to find the answers, especially day three. Then when I was about to submit my reply, I browsed your site and clicked on "Show your Car". There, amongst the many beautiful cars were all six quiz cars!” (see Read More for the correct answers). Like we said, easy :-)
As in previous years we printed all correct answers, mixed them in a basket and at random pulled out six mails. So the winners are: Henrik Pedersen (Denmark); Howard Morgan (UK); Walther Mahrer (Switzerland); Jan van den Berg (The Netherlands); Barrie Down (Canada) and last but not least jury member Peter Ransom (Australia).
