Fifties dealer advertising.

Steve Sample from Eugene, Oregon, USA wrote us the other day about the 1924 Nash he is selling (tel.:+1-541-513-2816):"The car was covered at a local car dealer from the early 50's-70's as an advertisement eye-catcher. And has been stored since (edit.: with no vacuum cleaner at hand, check interior). The motor needs a rebuild but is complete and the car has all parts." We thought the text all over is intriguing so we did a little research and found in the local newspaper when Ted Reeves took over a Nash dealership in....Eugene, Oregon, May 1952. Let's hope a new owner will rebuild the engine and get the car going again, but will keep Ted Reed's Advertising Sign intact. The restoration will prove to be a good investment as Ted Reed sold his cars with 'lifetime guarantee'.(photos Steve Sample)
