Flathead Anniversary in South Africa

Last Sunday the 80th Anniversary of the Ford V8 Flathead was celebrated in South Africa. This was at The Piston Ring, the biggest old car club in South Africa, located near Johannesburg at Modderfontein, a historic factory site making Dynamite for the gold mines from the 19th century.
You see Ced Pearce
proudly wearing his PreWarCar shirt with his 1938 Sedan Delivery. And in the other photo a few of the many other Fords that were on display. Ced also spoke with Brian Noik, including discussing the Model T Round the World Tour. We're sure they will be cooking up something for December when the Model T hopefully will turn up in SA. Even though it lacks a V8 flathead.

editor: You realise yourself that this photo is in South Africa?
