Hellé Nice honoured.

Despite her abundant smile and lifestyle, Hellé Nice wasn't the most pleasant woman to live with. This is what we learnt from the synopsis of the book Bugatti Queen by Miranda Seymour. When she died in 1984 (of all places in Nice) the family relations had become so thin, that her sister was not prepared to pay her gravemarker. Hellé was a superfast girl, but it took 26 years to change this situation. The Hellé Nice Foundation - dedicated to clelbrating the world's fastst woman - has announced a ceremony to honour Hellé and to place a marker on her grave. This will be in Sainte Mesme, not far outside Paris on September 4, 2010 .
