Here and Now

Every year the organizers of the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run offer a prize for the best photo taken by a spectator. This year the reward goes to Charles Wordingham, from Brighton, whose charming picture beautifully depicts a marriage of old and new motorists and road users, with the 1903 Panhard-Levassor entered and driven by Sir George White pictured alongside a lady cyclist, who is clearly delighted to see the 108 year-old car while stopped at a traffic intersection with a London bus behind. Well captured, Charles!
