Hershey on our mind (Upd. 1939 Bantam Hollywood)

Soren Spicknall sends this nice be it somewhat bleached photo from a friend's family album. The snapshot was taken around 1945.  We think it is very similar to a  Bantam  (American Austin), but we didn't find an exact match with the roadsters at the Bantam club-website. Can you tell us more about it? For those visiting  Hershey (October 5-8, 2011), there is always a bunch of Bantam projects to be found in the red field near Giant Center.

Now that we have you there, be sure to visit PreWarCar in Orange Field OAF-38, just a little side step from the car coral. This is what we will bring:
- our limited edition 2011 shirts (first come, first served)
- a special free advertising offer for private sellers.
- any pre-order any other PreWarCar regalia

It is an American Austin - a Bantam Hollywood convertible. The design is the work of Alex Tremulis. His first person story of meeting Roy Evans, building the prototype, rolling it when he fell asleep on a cross country trip, and becoming the one man Bantam design department is fascinating.

It's on this Tucker Club Bulletin Board page: http://www.tuckerclub.org/bbs3/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1781
