How to spend the days of Christmas?

Do you struggle to fill in the Christmas holidays? Well, it can be a real fuss to choose between family and family members, friends or family-in-law… Who makes what? Where do we have dinner? Whom do we need to buy presents for? And what’s on the menu for that vegetarian niece? What are we going to do anyway?

These two Friday Ladies don’t seem to worry about all that Christmas matter. It looks they’ve hired a lovely little log cabin to spend some good time there together. We reckon they opened the shutters right after these pictures were taken and made a fire in the fireplace.

With just the two of them, there also must have been plenty of space left in that big car (an Oldsmobile?) for some good books and all the ingredients to bake some mince pies and perhaps cook a turkey.

One of the two pictures shows a sign on the cabin, but we can’t read all of it: ‘DEFACEM… OR IN… THIS BUIL… IS CONTRARY TO LAW’ Hmmm… so what exactly are you not allowed to do there? We also noted the tyres of the car – it must have been quite a challenge to get there?
