The car is a 1920 Studebaker. Most likely it is a Light Six which cost $1,485 ($19,217 today). There were four models available: Touring, Roadster, Coupe and Sedan. It had a 112 inch wheelbase and a 40 horsepower engine. I found another photo of the same lady and car at a different location. The model might be vaudevillian and actress Trixie Friganza.

Is it my imagination or is there a huge rock behind the back wheel?
I guess that was some sort of a publicity picture because a) I'm not sure that the Ford T handbrake was good enough and b) I'm not sure the transmission bands were strong enough for a start at that angle!
