La Bella Rossa

Or maybe ‘Symphony in Red’ might also be a good description. This years celebration of 100 years of Alfa Romeo has gone off to a good start with the many attractive displays at this week’s Interclassics/Topmobiel in Maastricht. Almost all examples of the red-blooded marque were represented, but we were especially taken with the impressive row of 8C’s, that included this 1934 8C 2300 Monza. Also striking was the 1936 8C 2900A Botticella, that has a racing history in South-America from 1936 until 1950. All in all a great show, which still can be visited until tonight.
