Looking for new facts about the Schlumpf brothers

At the moment Arnoud and Ard op de Weegh are working on a new book about the Schlumpf Affair. "This book will tell the whole truth about the affair and will display many new photo's that never have been shown before. We're also the writers of 'The Fate of The Sleeping Beauties', the book that tells the truth about the Dovaz collection (Sleeping Beauty collection) that was photographed in the early 80's bij Herbert Hesselmann. We have a lot of information yet (for example: the fact that some people have tried to buy the collection from Fritz Schlumpf to keep the factory going. And Fritz agreed, but the deal could never be made... etc. etc.), but if you have any new facts about this collection or documents or photo's that could make this book better, please let us know! Don't hesitate to contact us!

The need of this book is the fact, that the real story is never told. We investigated for 6 years. Fritz Schlumpf tried to save his factories by selling some of his cars. In 1999 Arlette Schlumpf got back the 62 Malmerspach cars and a sum of 40.000.000 Francs. That's in about 7 million euro's. The story told until now is the Frennch version. Not the truth. We have many proofs, that the story is different

"Is there really a need for another tome on this?". Yes, if it tells a different and true story.

We need that book very much as we do not know the history of the "rest-collection" shown in the second picture.
And we also do not know what happened with the widow.
We can trust that father and son Op de Weegh are able to write a very interesting book.

Is there really a need for another tome on this? I think that 'The Schlumpf Obsession' by the great and sorely-missed
'Jenks' and co-writer Verstappen pretty much nailed this extraordinary story.

A wonderful book, handsomely illustrated, which is fairly easily sourced through motoring bookshops.

I would be very interested to know when the book will be published. I would certainly like to buy a copy. Living in France and having visited the museum many times it would be fascinating to know the real story.
