Memorial Day in the USA

•

Today it is the last Monday of May, this means it is Memorial Day also known as Decoration Day in the United States of America.

PreWarCar.com is not a platform to discuss politics (if this does not involve cars). But we do think that is it important to dwell on events from the past and special days like Memorial Day.

It is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving in the country`s Armed Forces. This consists of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard. People visit memorials and cemeteries where they place flowers and/or an American flag on the graves.

Please tell us what you are doing today to honour the men and women who died while serving, by commenting below.
