My Grandfather with a Friday Lady in the back

We received the following message from Di:

“Hello! I've just come across a photograph of my grandfather in a great car, I'd guess it dates from somewhere around 1924 - 1934. Anyone able to tell me what make it is? I've had a go at web searching and I guess I just don't have the skill to spot it!”

Can anyone identify this PreWarCar and tell Di more about this specific make and type?

Citroen production at Slough started in 1926 so it is likely an English-built car. The license plate may be from Australia, South Africa or any country in the British commonwealth with RHD. In a book I have, "75 Years of Citroen in the U.K. From A to X" by John Reynolds, there is a picture of an identical car with the same rear windscreen.

Citroen B14 was my first though aswell , but RHD? Have these been built for the UK market? ( like the TA and the DS in the Slough factory?)
The license plate does not look like a Uk license plate ?

Hi,
nice picture, it's with no doubt, a citroen B14 torpedo form the late twenties. It's a passenger torpedo, not a commercial one, otherwise the spare wheel would be mounted on the driver's side.
