My uncle's cyclecar was a....?

A few months ago, a friend sent me the interesting picture of above. He was interested to know about this car photographed at an airport, being the only info given that was his uncle´s sports car.  The purpose of his request was to recreate a scale model of the car, as this man, called Javier Adeva, is a skilled model maker. As soon as I received the photo I realised that the car was a 1920s Austin Seven Brooklands, but fitted with some "extra parts" as the uncommon hubcaps. I asked him for more photos, and surprisingly he did. A few showing the very same car (number plate M-45.658), but also two others showing yet another Austin Seven Brooklands, with number plate M-42.806, one of them taken inside a bull fighting arena! Javier started then to investigate his family´s archives, and finally appeared the answer to his uncle´s many Austins: His ancestors were the Austin agents in Madrid. And they imported many Brooklands models to Spain, as we have discovered in other interesting period archives. Finally, with the help of the many photographs, Javier was able to create an accurate scratch built model of his uncle´s Austin Seven. Including details of the engine and interior. Really, a beautiful tribute. Born form half forgotten history files.

The acrylic dome on top of the aircraft leads me to think that this photo was taken post war. My guess is that this early He-111 was the airliner version, not a reworked bomber. A dome like that on an airliner was used for celestial navigation or training of such.

The EARLY Heinkel 111(?) with the curious wing step reasonable could have been forecasting the FUTURE of aviation, VARIABLE WING GEOMETRY as best elicited with both the "F-111", and the following F-14 of U.S.

I said there are two cars here but actually there are three. That would be two real ones and one model. The photo of the engine is one of the model photos.

Aircraft looks to be a "stepped cockpit" version of Heinkel He-111 This type was used in the Spanish civil war, and up until the '50's by the Spanish air force.

As Jeffrey notes - definitely not an Austin 7, GE Brooklands or otherwise.
Wrong proportions, wrong engine, wrong steering assembly.

I think there could be two cars here. One an early thirties with tall skinny wheels and a professionally built body. The second car looks to be later and large with a different more simple body construction, maybe home built. The first one could be based on an Austin 7 and the other one could be built on an early Austin 10 chassis

The aircraft is an early Heinkel 111, as used by the Legion Condor in the Spanish civil war. Later versions had the greenhouse cockpit instead of the coventional stepped arrangement shown in the photo and wings with straight leading and trailing edges.

Looking at the size of the wheels relative to the radiator cowl, I would suggest that it is an Austin 7. This raises the intriguing possibility that a surviving GE Brooklands model might be found in Spain one day!

Some how the proportions don't seem to be quite right for the car to be an Austin 7. It seems too big. I would suggest it is based on a larger Austin, perhaps.

"Accurate scale model"? Really? The engine is nothing like any Austin 7 that I've ever seen, in fact with that water pump layout it doesnt even look Austin of any persuasion although the distributer does look '30s 10 or 12.
Neither have I seen a seven steering box mounted thusly.
More intriguing is the aeroplane.
What is it?
