The Boorman Mystery Car (Upd. Rhode!)

Nick Boorman from the UK would like to identify the car his grandmother is driving in about 1927. Nick thinks the vehicle was probably owned by or belonged to a customer of A. BOORMAN & Son, of Woking in Surrey. Boorman's was a family business from the early 1900's developing from a carriage repair business and ended as a BMC dealership in the 1960's. Can anyone help?

"If you'd rode in a Rhode you'd have knowed!"

Quote from the late Bill Boddy about 50 years ago.

I just found a nice Pic of the Rhode Sports. This one seems to be original, without the conventional head-lamps:

I agree with Ian, Nico & Robin. It is a Rhode Sports Modell around 1922:

Looking at the radiator and badge, as well as the those large "side" lamps, it looks like a Cluely. Perhaps someone has tried to make it look more conventional in style by fitting head-lamps in front of the radiator and later wheels?

I agree the radiator looks like a Delage & that was my best guess having looked at thousands of photos on the internet!
Can anyone narrow it down?

There seems to be no front dumbirons & semi elliptical springs. This suggests quarter elliptics. All very Non Delage.

The rad looks like Delage, but the wheels certainly don't!
