Mystery 'car' in Sweden ( update: no Essex, no Model A Ford ! )

Well, this is what we like. The left overs of  what once was a car and possible now only interesting to look at. Or is it in fact a project with potential? Jack sent us this picture of a collapsed 4 door sedan that he spotted in Sweden. He took 2 photo's to sort out what it is when he was back home. Unfortunately, he still hasn't got the slightest idea what it is. Can you identify it? And what is your idea about the future of this car outside the option of being a garden sculpture?

UPDATE by Editor: several people claim to see a Model A, but they overlook the fact that a Model A dashboard is  curved  quite differently at the bottom. Also the Model A dash is positioned right in  the middle where this dash is much more to the left.

Because of the dashboard it is never a FORD Model-A. Model-A has a small panel whith the instruments inside and the dashboard behind this panel has an other shape.

kind regards
Nino

not a model A ford, as the fuel gauge is at the top of the dash cut out. and this picture shows a speedometer hole and no sign of the fuel tank that would have been part of the car interior.

Essex instrument clusters of the period were more oblong, and the gauges were outlined in hexagons, the shape of the Essex badge. So no, no Essex.

Brings back memories, whatever it is. I always had eagle eyes for backyard contents, next to a major thoroughfare near home I frequently passed a vacant building with fenced in lot to the side, with a single something of this sort. I never stopped. Some years later, the lot was cleared, and I asked where the remains had been taken. To the salvage yard down the road.
The chassis had been in those high weeds, with only a rear clip left, no soft top or interior. It was a 1955 Chev. Convertible, and I waited too long.

In Model A Fords one side of the petroltank was in fact the dashboard. It held a fuelgauge that was incorporated in a separate panel for amp. and speedometer plus an ign. lock and dashlight. Quite different from these remains.

It is too far gone to save whatever it is. This reminds me of the Valdese Island ghost cars, a few of which are prewar. Google that name and have a look at the three minute U Tube video.
