This great photo was sent in by Jeff. He said these are French soldiers and the photo was made in 1915. Who can help him identify the car?
What do we see: a two-seater car with the famous 'mother-in-law....

Your very welcome Jeff. Now if our french military buffs can start to identify the uniforms, we have the names, maybe they can find out a little more about our four veterans....
I see photos like this and I can't help but wonder if any of these guys survived the next three years of the war, and if so, what eventually happened to them. They look so happy and carefree here.........let's just say thanks to all veterans who have served their countries....
The car is a 1913 or 1914 La Buire and the radiator is not really a bullnose, but a shallow V-front. In the years before WW1 many french makes had a similar V-front, in contrast to the sharp german 'Spitzkühler'. This La Buire model was one of the smaller models and was introduced in 1913.
