Nowadays everyone takes their phone to film it

Nowadays when an accident happens, everyone takes their phone to film it. But as accidents are from all times, it was already in the thirties that the whole village came out to see what happened. And we agree, this scene would have been quite a spectacle. Although at that time, there were a lot of cars driving around in the streets, we can imagine the roads were not as hectic as they are nowadays.

It looks the car that is laying upside down, forgot to give way to the right (I assume that rule was practice law already) and therefore was hit on the rear wheel. The wheel broke and the car flipped over. Luckily it doesn't look like there was anyone hurt. But still, it must have been quite shocking.

Now over to the type of cars, what do you think those big saloons are? Is that a Pontiac on the right?
