Longstone Tyres recently has received serious comments and complaints regarding the explicit advertising they have been following. Making use of vintage - sometimes risque - pictures showing young ladies working at their cars while not properly dressed for the occasion. Three points have come up in the complaints by the ladies:
1. Longstone wouldn't do any advertising with scantilly clad man in it.
2. it is sexist only to show ladies working with tyres
3. ladies are being misused as sex symbols
As Longstone values its customers high - no matter their gender - they decided to give in and had a chilly photo shoot yesterday morning hoping to address the various issues brought up. If there is enough interest Longstone is considering to print new posters and calendars on the new subject. Please add your comments freely.
