Parade of the Pioneers

Our Flemish reader Ivo Braeken is one of the organizers of a rally strictly for pre-1930 motorcycles and motorcars. It takes part in Neerglabbeek and is called “Trektocht der Pioniers” in Flemish, which roughly translates as “Parade of the Pioneers”. Held every First Sunday in June, the event is growing year after year, with some spectacular vehicles taking part. Last year for instance a Belgian Nagant racer from 1907 and two Stanley Steamers. For this year’s event, on June 6th, a 1919 Raugh & Laung and a 1902 Allisson are expected to take part. There’s still room if you would also like to participate, have a look at their website for the details.
