Look at the sun, shining through the trees. The light on its self is a mystery. A wonderful scene on this old postcard. The location can be seen on the bottom of the card, this everyday scene is in the Stationslaan in Harderwijk (the Netherlands).
There is a man standing next to the tree. You hardly see him. Someone with a cart with barrels. And in the distance, there is a man with a long coat walking down the street. Of course do not forget the cyclist, typically Dutch.
We are very keen to know if anyone can tell us more about the pre-war we see. We also have a photograph of the back of the card. There we see the card was sent in 1930 to someone in Rotterdam (the Netherlands). Which indicates the car is built before 1930. Something else we noticed is that the value of the stamp is 1 ½ cent… One thing is for sure, the cost of delivery has gone up tremendously since then.
