This is a question which came in from R.R., who sent several photos of a cutaway sleeve valve engine which is a patent model, a salesman sample, a prototype or a school learning example. Who can tell? It was sold to Rolf a very long time ago as a Willys Knight sleeve valve patent model but when he compared it with the available materials, there are too many differences. Maybe the patent app. date rings a bell? Sept. 13 1920 but it might be 1929 as well, hard to read. Looking forward to your expertise.
