I've made similar but much smaller cocks for the cylinder drains on miniature steam locomotives. I did the same tricks to make the tapers. Fun project.

Hello Jos, my iPhone requires more refurbishments than the cars because of the machines, chips and oil/gasoline. But It still takes nice pictures!
