Recovered from malicious attack (UPDATE: full access )

During the night from Thursday 2 - Friday 3 December- (around 12.00 GMT) PrewarCar-PostWarClassic suffered a severe attack from criminal parties looking to get us down. In the meantime the malware is located and taken out. We have started a search for the parties involved.

UPDATE II (19.00 GMT): now also Google, Firefox and Safari have acknowledged that we're clean again. We wish to thank all support we received. From the software guys, from various experts and from visitors all over the world. Heartwarming in these cold December days!

UPDATE I : Basically the problem is fixed. You can acces the website by typing www.prewarcar.com in Internet Explorer. Acces through Firefox and Google is not yet possible due to a slowish response from Google.

Hi guys good to have you back up and running. Nearly had withdrawal symptoms! When you find the hackers please have them tried and sentenced in Holland. A suggestion for punishment is put them in the stocks and each regular visitor to prewarcar.com should be allowed to throw 1 rotten egg at them. Thankfully my virus protector flagged it up immediately.

Welcome back. Not sure what you had but Firefox and Google both seem to have been up to containing it - annoying but inevitable part of net life. Scan, exterminate move on.

Thank goodness you have beaten it off! I have just managed to get on with Firefox although it took a little longer than usual. Did a full scan with my McAfee Perpetual today that showed no malware or infections, thank goodness!

Congratulations on beating the attack.

I have checked my computer with a deep scan and fortunately nothing.
Unfortunately I still have to unblock the site to get it to load

Sometimes it is hard to believe that these computer problems are so new, and brings my memory back to a time that on the garagedesk of any garage worldwide there was only a typwriter to produce the garagebills at the end of the week. And to put the bills in fresh envelopes and that these went to the costumer through the oldfashioned mail. Maybe it was slower but better! Goodluck with the virtual attack.

Thank you for advising this. It tried to attack my computer when I logged in this morning, looking like a malware message from Windows. Fortunately it contained the incorrect statement that my computer was no protected from malware and tried to get me to download from its site. Happily I had fully woken up, and was able to spot it and close down. I have since done a full computer scan with Comodo and have detected no problems.
